Pillbugs / Sowbugs

Sowbugs and Pillbugs are both crustaceans which look really similar to each other. Sowbugs have an oval body, but the back consists of articulating plates with 7 pairs of legs. The antennae might reach a half of its body length. They are mostly slate gray in color and reach about half inch long.

The pillbug has a rounder back, their shells look like armor, and when disturbed it rolls into a tight ball.

The pillbug can spend its entire life on land.

They both are active at night and live in moist places. To get rid of these insects, call us today.
