Powder-Post Beetles

Powder-Post Beetles represent a woodborer, which are considered pests that attack trees transforming their wood into a powdery dust. Powder-post beetle larvae spend months inside the wood; feeding on deciduous trees, including hardwoods or softwoods.

The best way to preserve a powder-post infestation is to use boron. The infestation appears on wooden tools, frames, furniture, books, toys, bamboo and other structures.
